Electra s.a. was founded in 1994 and started its operations with nine employees, their activities included planning, production and testing of electronic boards on behalf of third parties.

In February 1995 the company was taken over by new partners, this marked the beginning of the present management directed by Loriano Racchini.

The employees, since 1988, boast specific experience.

Due to the company's expansion policy regarding their own projects and those of third parties and the acquisition of new clients, the following changes necessary:

• a continuos growth of qualified employees mostly trained or graduates in industrial electronics;

• investments in automation for both production and testing;

• investments in updated instrumentation and design.

Electra has always placed the clients full satisfaction as a prerequisite of every activity.

The positive acknowledgment of this policy has been the achievement of its own 

Company Quality System according to rule UNI EN ISO 9001.

Electra possesses experience in the design of electronic microprocessor controls for machine tools used in the following sectors:

• plastic work (PET)

• wood work

• llenses

• packing

• automobile control system

• aesthetics electro medical equipment

• industrial battery chargers

• ultra-sonic cold vapour generators

• fovens for cooking (food)

• postal systems

• systems of refrigeration and ice production

The internal production makes use of:

- the latest machines for assembling SMT

- systems testing In-Circuit with a bed of needles and mobile probes

- hot and cold Burn-In cycles.
